Professional Background
Russell began his nursing career after earning his Associate Degree in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in 1990. He continued his education at the same university, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995, before completing his Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at Tennessee State University in 2015.
He is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Tennessee.
With a background in primary care and hospital-based medicine, Russell has extensive experience managing acute and chronic medical conditions, conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans.
To further develop his knowledge of ENT care, Russell completed an intensive ENT training program in Long Beach, California, under the direct mentorship of Dr. Steven Enrich, a board-certified otolaryngologist at Tennessee Breathe Free. Russell joined the practice in September 2026, bringing his extensive nursing experience and specialized ENT training to his new role.
